Biography

A Pushcart Prize nominee, Jennifer Hambrick was a winner in the 2017 international Golden Haiku Competition (Washington, D.C.) and received the Merit Award in the 2017 Montenegrin International Haiku Competition (English). Her chapbook of free verse poems, Unscathed (NightBallet Press), was nominated for the Ohioana Book Award, and she has received many other recognitions for her work, which has appeared in Santa Clara Review, Third Wednesday, Mad River Review, Muddy River Poetry Review, River River, 50-Word Stories, Modern Haiku, World Haiku Review, The Heron’s Nest, Bones, Sonic Boom,Ershik, Eucalypt, Haibun Today, the major Japanese newspaper The Asahi Shimbun (The Morning Sun), and in dozens of other journals and anthologies worldwide, in English and in translation. Biografia
Una nomina per il premio Pushcart, Jennifer Hambrick è stata vincitrice nel 2017 della Competizione internazionale Golden Haiku (Washington, D.C.) e ha ricevuto il Merit Award nel 2017 nella Competizione Internationale Haiku Montenegrino ( inglese). Biography
Alan Summers is President of the United Haiku and Tanka Society; a double
Japan Times award-winning writer; recipient of the Ritsumeikan University
of Kyoto Peace Museum Award for haiku (1998); and a Pushcart Prize
nominated poet. He is co-founder of Call of the Page which runs online
courses in haiku and haibun. His latest book Writing Poetry: The Haiku Way

Alan Summers è il Presidente della United Haiku and Tanka Society; uno scrittore vincitore per ben due volte del Japan Times award, beneficiario dello Haiku Award dell’ Università Ritsumeikan del Museo della Pace di Kyoto  (1998); un poeta nominato per il Premio Pushcart.
È il co-fondatore di Call of the Page che dà corsi online di haiku e haibun.
Il suo ultimo libro Writing Poetry, The Haiku Way, uscirà
nel 2017 inoltrato.Di lui Yomiuri Shimbun ha detto :
“Poeta di haiku ampiamente conosciuto … come uno champagne secco e vintage”

Biography

Valentina Ranaldi-Adams was born in the USA, to parents from Arpino, Italy.  She attended the University of Akron, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree, in Mathematics.  Valentina worked as a computer programmer, for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.  Her haiku and senryu have appeared in journals such as Bamboo Hut, Brass Bell, cattails, chrysanthemum, failed haiku, and Wild Plum.

Valentina Ranaldi-Adams è nata negli USA da genitori italiani, originari di Arpino.
Ha frequentato l’Università di Akron, dove ha conseguito una borsa di studio in Scienze, a Matematica.  Valentina ha lavorato come programmatrice di computer per la Goodyear Tire e Rubber Company.  I suoi haiku e senryu sono apparsi in giornali quali Bamboo Hut, Brass Bell, cattails, chrysanthemum, failed haiku e Wild Plum
