Fra i palpiti della vecchia Milano, non distante dal Vicolo delle Lavandaie, la Casa delle Arti ha accolto qualche giorno fa il vernissage di Luna di un Girasole- Sunflower Moon.
Vi parlo di un luogo i cui mille e mille eventi poetici hanno reso un salotto poetico Il Salotto milanese che ospita Poesia per eccellenza.
Perché a Casa Merini ci si sente davvero come a casa, le mura sembrano respirare per osmosi con le anime che vi si alternano, sono vive, e le si può sentir tremolare dal desiderio di accogliere ogni volta nuove poesie, emozioni trepidanti, pungenti, fra piccoli e grandi sussulti …. Lo spirito della grande poetessa Alda geme e gioisce ancora grazie alla devozione alla poesia delle Donne dello Staff ( fra cui ringrazio in particolare le amiche Diana Battagia e Teresanto Scroccarello) che ne sono l’essenza pulsante e che accompagnano con passione e grande professionalità ogni evento che vi nasce …
Quanta felicità l’aver condiviso con loro l’inestimabile esperienza del cullarsi nella poesia …!
La mia più sentita gratitudine per questo viaggio meraviglioso insieme ai loro cuori …. !

Sunflower Moon, di Lucia Fontana, è un percorso a spirale che, nella sequenza di haiku, conduce l’autrice dall’essere figlia all’innamoramento, dal dubbio sulla relazione alla ricerca della maternità, dall’essere madre all’essere sola e pronta a rinnovarsi.
La dichiarazione di Lucia è già nella prima pagina: un essere vivente che, per intima necessità non scevra di una certa passione per la conoscenza, non segue la corrente. E anche quando c’è un filo spinato, indicazione di pericolo o di divieto, si va avanti e indietro, forse per prendere coraggio, forse per prendere la rincorsa. Cosa trattiene dall’andarsene? Quasi sempre gli affetti, non la paura. Affetti tratteggiati con una tenerezza dolente: ogni crescita è anche sofferenza, il bozzolo si deve aprire per dare vita a una forma di noi migliore. Lasciare andare: i figli, gli amori, gli anni.
Nel labirinto della vita che ci riporta spesso sui nostri passi o ci conduce verso strade senza sbocco, osare essere fragili e accettare di non essere “visti” può orientare verso la ricerca interiore: superati la pena, il dubbio, la malinconia, smessi gli abiti del dolore, possiamo improvvisare alcuni passi di danza e anche tornare indietro per ritrovarci pronti a rinascere e a camminare avanti, ognuno nel proprio gentile silenzio.
Sunflower Moon by Lucia Fontana is a spiral path that, in a sequence of haiku, leads the author from being a daughter to falling in love, from doubt about relationships to the search for motherhood, from being a mother to being alone and ready to renew herself. Lucia’s statement is already on the first page: a living being that, due to an intimate need of not being devoid of a certain passion for knowledge, does not follow the current. And even when there is a barbed wire, an indication of danger or prohibition, we go back and forth, perhaps to have courage, perhaps to run. What keeps you from leaving? Almost always affections, not fear. Affections outlined with a painful tenderness: each instance of growth is also suffering, the cocoon must open to give life to a better form of us.
Letting go: children, loves, years. In the labyrinth of life that often takes us back on our footsteps or leads us towards dead ends, daring to be fragile and accepting not to be “seen” can guide us towards inner research: once pain, doubt, and melancholy have been overcome, the clothes of pain are abandoned, we can 76 improvise dance steps and even go back to find ourselves ready to be reborn and walk forward, each in their own gentle silence.

La nuova collezione di haiku di Lucia Fontana Sunflower Moon è molto melodiosa e intrigante. Lucia offre un’intera gamma di canzoni — da quelle allegre del bambino interiore a quelle calde della maternità, dai richiami degli uccelli in primavera al blues del crepuscolo autunnale. I suoi haiku non sono solo pieni di suoni, ma hanno anche un’incredibile esposizione di colori e odori: la luna di corallo, il più rosso dei desideri dell’acero, il sole e la pioggia, i boccioli di fiordaliso, l’arcobaleno . . . In tutta la collezione la sensazione moderna si intreccia con un delicato senso di nostalgia che trasmette la profonda comprensione di Lucia degli alti e bassi della vita, ma soprattutto sottolinea la bellezza dell’esistenza quotidiana.
Lucia Fontana’s new haiku collection Sunflower Moon is very melodious and intriguing. Lucia offers a whole range of songs — from the cheerful songs of the inner child to the warm songs of motherhood, from the bird songs in springtime to the blues of autumn twilight. Her haiku are not only full of sounds, they also have an amazing display of colours and smells — the coral moon, the redder than maple wishes, the sun and the rain, the cornflower buds, the rainbow . . . Throughout the whole collection the modern feel intertwines with a gentle sense of nostalgia which conveys Lucia’s deep understanding of the ups and downs in life but most importantly highlights the beauty of everyday life.

Sono stato a lungo un fan del lavoro di Lucia e sono felice che abbia scelto di mettere insieme una collezione dei suoi haiku in italiano e 78 inglese. Questa sembra una raccolta di poesie intensamente personale e non è difficile trovare al suo interno la storia di perdita, amore, malattia, nascita e maternità. Le profonde emozioni della vita di Lucia sono messe a nudo qui attraverso le allusioni alla natura e al ciclo delle stagioni, racchiuso in tutto da un’intuizione spirituale. Sunflower Moon è una bellissima antologia e Lucia ha tutto il diritto di esserne orgogliosa.
I have long been a fan of Lucia’s work and am delighted she has chosen to put together a collection of her haiku in Italian and English. This feels like an intensely personal body of poems and it is not hard to find the story within it of loss, love, illness, birth and motherhood. The deep emotions of Lucia’s life are laid bare here through allusions to nature and the cycle of the seasons, capped throughout by spiritual insight. Sunflower Moon is a beautiful anthology and Lucia has every right to be very proud of it.
